I'm a Big Girl now

After 35 years of refusing to pay more than $40 for a purse and making that last for a good year, I have finally done it.  I bought a big girl purse.  What I mean to say is... I bought a designer handbag.  My bro-in-law and niece took the kids to the zoo this morning, which left me with some mommy shopping time.  And boy, did I spend it well!
Enter the Elaine Turner store in Rice Village.  Recently I met two fantastic ladies - one a former designer and the other a current company officer for Elaine Turner - and so I just had to check it out.  I have never been one for designer purses because I feel like most of them spend too much energy on printing the label all over the bag.  But no ma'am, Miss Turner hasn't fallen for that trick.  Check out my new baby!
Yes, it is SOOOO me.  Yes, I spent WAY more than my typical purse budget on it, but I plan to make it last.  The saleswoman kindly reminded me that it was washable with soap & water, for any kid-type accidents.  Yippee!
I also got the keyfob to go with it...

Luckily, I managed to avoid the shoes... phew, close call!
